Fandom Engine
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
Fandom Engine creates characters, 3D model files, figurines, and cosplay commissions from your photos. For any privacy question or request, use the contact information provided on our website. This policy explains what photos and information we collect, how we use them, and your rights.
1. Photos we collect
We collect the photo(s) you upload to create your character, plus any reference or fitting photos you provide during a figurine or cosplay order. We also collect the name, email, shipping address, and billing address you enter at checkout (collected by our payment processor, Stripe).
Photos are used solely to create your character, prepare your proof or quote, and produce what you ordered. We do not use your photos for advertising, model training, or any purpose unrelated to your order.
2. AI & cloud processors
To create your character image and (for paid products) your 3D model, we use AI image-generation and 3D-model generation services, plus cloud storage and computing providers. These providers process your photos and model data solely to perform the service on our behalf, under terms that limit their use of the data.
3. Retention & deletion
Uploaded photos are automatically purged from your character record after about 30 days unless you saved the character or attached an order to it. We retain model files and order records for as long as needed to complete your order and address any quality or support issues. You may request deletion of your photos and model files at any time; we will delete them once they are no longer required to complete or support your order, unless retention is required by law.
4. Security
We use Stripe for payment processing and do not store your card details. Your photos and 3D files are stored privately with signed, expiring access links. Access to your photos and order data is limited to the people who need it to complete your order. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
5. Deletion & access requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your photos and personal data at any time by contacting us (use the contact information provided on our website). We will respond within a reasonable time and confirm the action taken. Deletion may be limited where we are required to retain records (for example, to complete an in-progress order or for tax obligations).
6. Marketing
We do not use your photos or personal data for marketing without your separate, explicit consent. Order-related emails (confirmations, proofs, status updates) are transactional, not marketing, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
7. Your rights
You have rights regarding your personal data under applicable data protection law, including access, correction, and withdrawal of consent. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or to make a request, use the contact information provided on our website, or write to us at the address provided at checkout or on our website.
